Who Are We?
The Vagabond Players, Inc. is a non-profit theatre troupe that travels to senior centers, retirement homes and communities, assisted living centers and health care facilities. We bring live theater to seniors who may not have the opportunity or capability to get out to see live theater. In addition, we perform at community theaters such as El Campanil Theatre in Antioch, California.
Our Mission Is:
* to contribute to the arts and the community by making theatre more accessible to older artists and audiences;
* to educate seniors who participate in theater arts;
* to dispel myths about aging;
* to educate the community by bringing a positive image of aging; and
* to celebrate the talents of older artists.
Our Actors:
Our actors are of all age ranges including children, teens, young adults and seniors. Many have years of experience and the talent and desire to bring you the enjoyment of live theatre to your facility.
